Rajeshkumar C. Patel is a founding director and Chairman of Central Bank. Mr. Patel is the principal organizer of Central Bank. He was interim President of Central Bank from January 31, 2014 thru July 6, 2014 and also Interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Central Bank from January 31, 2014 thru July 31, 2015. He has owned and operated a hotel and was the Principal Environmental Engineer with the State of New Jersey Division of Environmental Protection and Energy in Trenton, New Jersey. Mr. Patel served as Governor of Best Western International from 2005 until 2008. He owns a retail center and commercial rental properties and is also involved in the development of commercial properties. Mr. Patel has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from S. P. University in V.V. Nagar, India and additional credits from the Drexel University, Philadelphia. He graduated from the Florida School of Banking in Gainesville in 2007. He attended Bond School of CenterState Bank in 2009.
John Thompson is a Florida native. He graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, and also holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Pepperdine University. He attended the National Commercial Lending Graduate School and the Stonier Graduate School of Banking. He served as a Commissioned Officer in the United States Army prior to beginning his banking career, which now spans 40 years. He understands banking at every level, from loan origination to underwriting, market expansion, product development, wealth and treasury management, and client service. His banking experience includes service with Barnett Bank, SunTrust Bank, American Momentum Bank, and an independent Community Bank in Georgia. He has served in such diverse roles as President & CEO, Chief Lending Officer, Chief Credit Officer and Line of Business Manager. John believes in community service and has served as a board member of the Chamber of Commerce, United Way, American Heart Association, Rotary Club (Paul Harris Fellow), Downtown Development Authority, Habitat for Humanity and Georgia Council on Economic Education. He presently serves on the Florida Bankers Association (FBA) Board of Directors and is also member of the BankPac Committee, a statewide, bi-partisan, non-profit political action committee organized by members of the Florida Bankers Association.
Nileshkumar C. Patel, CFA, is a founding director of Central Bank, having first been elected to the Board in 2007. Currently Mr. Patel serves as an Executive Vice President - Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and Information Security Officer (ISO) of Central Bank. Mr. Patel is one of the principal organizers of Central Bank and has held a number of positions in development and implementation of software systems, and has been involved in the hospitality industry. He also owns retail centers, medical offices, commercial land, and commercial rental properties. Previously he worked as a project manager for Institutional Brokerage division at Susquehanna International Group (SIG) in Philadelphia. He has over ten years of Intellectual Technology experience and is a Certified Financial Analyst. He has an MBA in Finance from Temple University, a BS in Electrical Engineering from S. P. University in India, and majority of course work towards an MS in Software Engineering from Penn State University. Nilesh was an Adjunct Faculty in the BS in Banking at St. Petersburg College from 2008 to 2011. He is a graduate of Florida School of Banking in Gainesville in 2007. In 2009 and in 2017 he also attended CenterState Bank Bond School.
Arvind C. Patel is a founding director of Central Bank and one of its principal organizers. Mr. Patel has been the President and Managing Partner at Jiba Hospitality, LLC since January of 2005. In addition, Mr. Patel has been the President and Managing Partner of AGMT, LLC since 1987. He also has other ownership interests in hotels in Florida and Pennsylvania. Mr. Patel has an engineering degree from the Dairy School in Gujarat, India.
Dinubhai D. Patel is a founding director of Central Bank. Mr. Patel has owned and operated a motel in Branford, Connecticut since 1985. Mr. Patel is formerly a Senior Criminologist with the Nebraska State Police and has served in leadership roles in several professional and civic organizations. He has a Masters degree in Biochemistry from the University of Scranton and a Masters degree in Organic Chemistry from SP. University in Gujarat, India.
Jayesh D. Patel is a founding director of Central Bank and one of its principal organizers. He has ownership interests in over fifteen hotels. He is, and has been active in a number of professional and civic organizations. Jayesh is also a regional director in AAHOA (Asian American Hotel Owners Association) and director for Windham Hotels Group. He holds a Masters degree in Mathematics from the M.S. University in Baroda, India.
Jayesh K. Patel is a founding director of Central Bank. Mr. Patel is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) who has been a Project Engineer with the New Jersey State Department of Transportation in Trenton, New Jersey since 1988. Mr. Patel also has ownership interests in Dunkin Donut franchises, retail and hospitality operations. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the S.P. University in V.V. Nagar, India.
Jiten K. Patel is a founding director of Central Bank. Mr. Patel is President, Manager/Owner of Vinayak Properties, LLC. in Bradenton, Florida which owns and operates Holiday Inn Hotel at Sarasota Airport. Formerly, He was a Structural Load Rating Engineer with the Florida State Department of Transportation and The New York State Department of Transportation. He has an ownership interest in a real estate companies in Bradenton, FL.
Mahendra G. Patel is a founding director of Central Bank and one of its organizers. Mr. Patel has been involved in commercial real estate development and management since 1982. He is the managing member for a number of hotel operations. Mr. Patel has also been an Engineer in New York. He has an MBA from Long Island University in New York and a degree in Mechanical Engineering from M.S. University in Baroda, India.
Shilen K. Patel is a founding director of Central Bank. Mr. Patel is CEO of HealthAxis Group, a healthcare IT firm with operations in Tampa, Dallas, and Los Angeles and a nationwide customer base. He is also an active investor in real estate as well as early stage ventures. Mr. Patel received his Bachelors Degree in Entrepreneurship from Babson College as well as MBA Degrees from both Columbia University and the London Business School. He is a lifelong resident of the Tampa Bay Area with deep community ties.
Vijay M. Patel, M.D. is a founding director of Central Bank. Dr. Patel is Board Certified Nephrologist working at the Florida Medical Clinic, a multi specialty clinic with over 250 providers and at more then 25 location in Hillsborough and Pasco counties. Dr. Patel completed his fellowship from Temple University and completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) after receiving his medical degree from the South Gujarat University, India. Dr. Patel is also involved in multiple joint ventures in healthcare and owner occupied real-estate. He is also actively participating in multiple charitable organizations and philanthropic work, locally and internationally.
